Maxland Sdn Bhd ("MSB") was incorporated on 21 DEcember 1982 in Malaysia as a private limited company under the Act. MSB is principally involved in timber extraction, construction and land development contract.MSB has approximately 1,529 employees as at 31 May 2009.
MSB is a wholly owned subsidiary of PWPB. PWPB was incorporated on 22 August 1996 in Malaysia under the Act, as a private limited company under the name of Priceworth Wood Products Sdb. Bhd. On 6 November 2000, it was converted to a public limited company and assumed its current name. PWPB become a public listed company on 31 December 2001 following its listing in the Second Board of Bursa Securities. The Company subsequently transferred its listing status to the Main Board of Bursa Securities on 26 November 2004.
