The Malaysian Red Crescent is a part of the global family of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement whose mission is to alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found and promote lasting peace amongst all peoples. The Malaysian Red Crescent provides ambulance services to the Malaysian Emergency Response Service 999 (MERS999) to serve the community and also provides event medical standby duties.The Malaysian Red Crescent strives to educate and disseminate First Aid knowledge to all members of the community through its First Aider in Every Home (FAEIH) programme.As auxiliary to the humanitarian services of the Malaysian Government, the Malaysian Red Crescent carries out its humanitarian services to care for those affected by disasters.
