Job offer: Head of Corporate Affairs - Automotive

The Head of Corporate Affairs is tasked to manage key relationships with various external stakeholders, partner with the business teams to advise on regulatory and policy issues to create an environment to safeguard the company's growth. Some key responsibilities include:

• Champion stakeholder mapping and manage strategic government relationships
• Facilitate policy, regulatory and crisis management
• Build strong network with regulators, officials to advocate and defend the positions of the company and its industry
• Externally representing the company in meetings and events in relations to regulatory & policy discussions as well as government partnerships
• Build and develop the corporate affairs team evolving with business needs
• Team management, strengthen and upskill a team of more than 10

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is a seasoned professional in government relations, corporate affairs, regulatory affairs and policy making. Other requirements include:

• More than 15 years of experience working on in a related position
• Good network of key government organisations and other stakeholders in Malaysia
• Ability to understand business strategies and how to navigate policy or regulatory challenges while driving growth
• Excellent communication skills in Malay and English
• Deep interest and experience in government strategy and implementation
