The Events Director leads all events related planning and execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and oversee event operations by coordinating with vendors and agencies for both game-day and non-game-day setups and activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage productivity and relations among Stagehands, riggers, and other labor contractors.
  • Collaborate with arena and team departments to fulfill event staffing and production requirements.
  • Assist in planning and managing event-related budgets and expenses.
  • Coordinate event floor plans in line with building safety codes and secure necessary permits, ensuring compliance with fire, building, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare documentation such as event notes, cost estimates, and post-event summaries.
  • Manage departmental budgets, including Operating, Maintenance, and Capital Projects related to production services.
  • Oversee the work of stagehands, riggers, and other contract personnel for events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and rental companies supporting event-related activities.
  • Conduct Production Meetings with arena and tenant departments to ensure efficient and timely information sharing for events.
  • Oversee broadcast, production, and technical aspects related to the arena setup.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is an experienced events leader with experience managing large scale projects with huge budgets. Key requirements include:

  • 10 years in a media agency or TV production environment, with a strong background in event management, technical, and personnel management.
  • Proven success in event facilities management or similar roles.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Self-driven and results-focused.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize projects and manage personnel effectively.
  • Knowledge of crowd management and control practices.
  • Proficiency with standard office applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
