Job Description

• To monitor and control the various functions of Fabrication, Fabrication Planning & Control, Design & Engineering, Actual Fabrication, Inventory & Maintenance
• To manage all the activities of Operations assigned by Top Management
• Responsible for all the activities related to Design, Quality Assurance, Fabrication Planning & Control, Inventory & Maintenance functions of the Factory
• Responsible for Technical support to Sales
• Responsible for Project work related to Factory like making proposals for plant equipment, fixtures, tools etc. Responsible for feasibility study
• Production planning supervision, scheduling for production, preparing production schedules for manufacturing of industrial or commercial products
• Making sure each operation meets shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
• Analysing production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements
• Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
• Determining the status of assigned projects, expedites operations tat delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Preparing production reports as required for internal and external use
• Plans the process for manufacture, fabrication, assembly, erection or installation of parts, components, assemblies, etc
• Analyses and interprets construction bills of material, scopes, specifications etc, to determine the content & plan manageable work elements
• Prepares defined work packages, including detailed instructions, drawings, bills of material, reference, inspection requirements etc, to initiate and control production work
• Monitor, analyses & reports performance to schedule of production & support activities, utilizing information derived from material and production control systems
• Analyses requests for maintenance/repair services & determines the validity, content & scope of requested work

Job Requirement

• Minimum or equivalent of degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related technical education
• 2 to 5 years’ experience working in manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of large-scale industrial filtration is also considered beneficial
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and a Windows operating environment
• Working knowledge of Lotus Notes is added advantage
• Experience in Design Engineering at least 2D drawing
