Financial Planning and Reporting:
Accounting and Month End Financial Reporting
- Oversee the company general ledger and the integrity of all financial information and data for SEA.
- Timely and accurate preparation of the SEA monthly management financial statements (trial balance) for submission to Business Development (JRS).
- Preparation of monthly financial reports including the Monthly Financial Reporting Package and Country Category Financial Report.
- Compliance with IFRS and JRS / SAPL financial reporting policies and procedures.
- Preparation of assigned GL reconciliations ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy.
Financial Management Reporting
- Responsibility for the preparation and provision of Profit and Loss Statement for relevant stakeholders ensuring all deadlines are met with accuracy.
- Assistance with ad-hoc financial analysis and queries as required for specific SEA and Business Development projects.
Commercial FP&A
- Revenue Management
- Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting
- Assistance in the preparation of the Financial Forecasting/Budgeting and LRP requirement for SEA.
Process Improvement
- Assist in the development of financial systems and processes and compliance to ensure data validity and integrity.
- Highly motivated to achieve accuracy and in meeting deadlines.
- Committed to providing actionable accounting metrics to support management decision making.
Internal Control
- Maintain a general vigilance towards effective internal controls and accounting systems.
- Assist in the development of internal controls to safeguard assets.
External Audit, Corporate Reporting and Tax
- Preparation of statutory financial statements and assigned all income tax return schedules.
- Responsibility for managing outstanding GST matters.
Other
- Liaise with other member of the Finance and Administration team and develop an understanding to provide "back-up" in periods of absence.
- Minimum of 5 years accounting experience in a FMCG company or audit practice of a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Understanding of accounting systems and re-design.
- Strong information technology skills - Large corporate ERP systems such as SAP are preferred and Microsoft applications with advanced excel skills required.
- Business process improvement - redesign of underlying processes to achieve more efficient results.
- Financial accounting - involvement in the preparation of IFRS financial statements.
- Income Tax compliance - involvement in the preparation of annual income tax returns.

Salary
MYR9,000 - MYR15,000 per month (MYR108,000 - MYR180,000 per year) (MYR)
