Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective communication (verbal and written) between management (Mandarin-English)
• Attend internal and external meetings / conferences and act as official translator to facilitate mediate discussion
• Understand technical terms used in the translation and deliver accordingly.
• Relay concepts and ideas between languages i.e. Mandarin to English (+Bahasa Malaysia) and vice versa
• Support other units within Operations Department as well as other Department in terms of administration matters and / or by project basis
• Perform and execute any other duties assigned by superior that may be deemed appropriate to this role or to support the various units and department within the company.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field
• Major from engineer or IT background is an advantage
• Required skills: Documentation, Communication skill, Computer Literate, Writing Skill
• Required languages: Proficient in Mandarin and English speaking (and writing is an advantage)
• Candidates with working experience in translation / interpretation (Mandarin to English and vice versa) is an advantage
• Possess driving license and have own vehicle is preferable.
