As an HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing human resources policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the company's strategic objectives through effective HR management.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Policy Development and Implementation:
    • Develop, review, and update HR policies and SOPs in line with legal requirements and organisational goals.
    • Implement HR policies across all departments and ensure adherence throughout the organisation.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.


  • Recruitment and On-boarding:
    • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Develop and implement on-boarding programs to facilitate smooth integration of new hires into the organisation.
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.


  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
    • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution between employees and management.
    • Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.


  • Performance Management:
    • Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary.
    • Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.


  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs within the organisation and develop training programs to address skill gaps.
    • Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.
    • Encourage continuous learning and development opportunities for employees.


  • Compliance and Legal Responsibilities:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Keep abreast of changes in legislation and update HR policies accordingly.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements.


  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
    • Generate reports and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Provide management with insights and recommendations based on HR data analysis.


  • The Successful Applicant

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (CGPA 3.0 & above preferred)
    • Proven experience in HR management roles, with a focus on policy development and implementation.
    • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent communication skills in English.
    • MUST HAVE experience in Financial Services/Institutions.
