Job Description:

As the Cross Border Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the cross-border operations of ASEAN market. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods across international borders while complying with all relevant regulations and requirements. Your strategic leadership will be essential in driving operational excellence and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of cross-border operations, including customs clearance, documentation, transportation, and delivery.
  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes to streamline the movement of goods across international borders.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Regulatory 8 and custom Compliance:

  • Stay up-to-date with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and trade agreements to minimize risks and delays.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and government agencies to resolve compliance issues and obtain necessary permits or licenses.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of cross-border operations staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the operations team.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure optimal resource allocation to meet operational objectives.

Client Relations:

  • Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service teams to understand client requirements and expectations.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates on shipment status, resolve any issues or concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and exceed client expectations through innovative solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in bonded and non bonded warehouse
  • Has knowledge on custom clearance, K1, K3, K8
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in haulage movement between bonded and port
