Lestari Puchong Sdn Bhd Lawyer
Messrs Yeap & Yong was in cohort with developer Lestari Puchong Sdn BHd. to sell bumi-allocated houses to non-bumis in year 2002. Messrs Yeap & Yeap was the lawyer thru whom I signed the S & P when I bought a house from the developer Lestari Puchong Sdb BHd. The developer has since gone bankrupt and is under liquidation. After 17 years todate, I have yet to receive my house title. I have paid the necessary fees i 2016 to the Liquidator (Ler Lum Advisory Services Sdn BHd) and its lawyer (Ricky Tan & Co.) but have yet to obtain my house title. I only came to know that I was conned into buying a bumi-allocated house when when I tried to sell my house to a bumi family. I was informed by the Liquidator that consent is required from the Housing Ministry before I can sell my house. Can any lawyer advise me what action can I take against Messrs Yeap & Yong for not informing me that the house I bought was a bumi-allocated unit?
