El Libre My

El Libre Food and Co was the baby of founder Shairi Jirwan (25) who worked various eateries while in Singapore (including Eat with Fries and the prestigious Daniel Boulud in Marina Bay Sands) a country bursting with expatriate influence. He brought the idea of the burrito back to Malaysia to see where it would take him. Yee Lisan is a video producer for a local production house but has always been interested in food, but cant cook! A self volunteer food tester and handling the management part of El Libre, the business kicked off earlier this year with catering businesses every week.

We took iconic Asian dishes/ ingredients and work them into preparing various variations of the burrito. In time, El Libre Food and Co will introduce new cuisines from other regions of the globe such as ,

Our menu offers a wide range of Mexican fused with Asian flavoured condiments that our clients can select and have it wrapped into a burrito.

In the near future we plan to have a food truck which makes us mobile and available in different areas , thus letting El Libre Food and Co provide more people with great food and also introducing and educating them about new cultures by the use of food.
