Simplify is a company that is listed among the world's 50 most innovative companies. It offers a platform where users can sell and buy unused Internet bandwidth from their home broadband or mobile plans. This enables people to become "miniature Internet Service Providers" and share their Internet access with others. When someone wants to buy bandwidth, Simplify creates an encrypted hotspot password that enables them to access the other person's network. The company was founded in Malaysia and later refined at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) before being granted a US Patent.
