  • Assist in planning and conducting on-site trials to evaluate product performance and suitability for customer applications.
  • Provide technical expertise during trials to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to facilitate the roll-out of new equipment and process modifications at customer sites.
  • Ensure smooth implementation and integration of new technologies to optimize customer processes.
  • Identify and assess equipment suppliers based on technical specifications, reliability, and suitability for customer applications.
  • Develop mechanical guidelines for equipment usage and application at customer sites.
  • Conduct ROI calculations and cost analyses to evaluate the financial feasibility of projects.
  • Identify and acquire new customers by evaluating market competition and understanding customer needs.
  • Provide technical training to sales teams on relevant products to enhance their sales effectiveness.
  • Lead innovation development projects for customers, including pilot installations and trials at customer facilities.
  • Translate customer functional needs into technical specifications for product development and process optimization.
  • Develop, document, and validate new processes for applying products at customer facilities.
  • Introduce and improve new product or process applications through modifications and trials, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) at customer sites.
  • Provide support to customers during the start-up of new manufacturing lines/equipment after product launch.
  • Maintain close communication with internal and external customers and end-users to understand local regulations, needs, and constraints.
  • Collaborate within the Group Operation to ensure alignment of technical initiatives with business objectives.
  • Develop guidelines for customers on the handling of new products, including technical descriptions, specifications, and training materials.
  • Participate in implementing and complying with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) regulations on a daily basis.
The Successful Applicant
  • Process or Mechanical Engineering preferably Academic degree and/or min 5 years working experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering and/or Process Engineering, preferably
  • related to minerals processing.
  • Knowledge of investment- and product costing fundamentals
  • Good analytical and deductive skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to be proactive and take responsibility.
  • Travel needed to customers in regions, pilots, plants, supplier's sites. Expect up to 50% travel.
