Job vacancy Senior Data Engineer

• Collecting, managing and transforming raw data into Information that can be interpreted
• Design or participate on the data model design
• Understand business requirement and translate to design document from data ingestions to data modelling
• Identify hidden patterns from stored data
• Transforming legacy data to robust and informative data
• Implementing and learning new technologies and developing tools to remain abreast of current technology, while leveraging skills to support legacy technologies in development activities

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or other related discipline
• At least 3 years experience in Data Engineering (eg. Data modelling, data pipeline, data architecture , ETL )
• Experience in utilizing Cloudera
• Strong SQL skillset, added advantange impala sql language
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of data modelling and understanding of various data structure and their benefits and limitations
