Position Title : Operation Director (Plasic)

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM15,000 – RM30,000

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plastic injection molding facility.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of product quality.
• Provide effective leadership to a diverse team of production staff, including machine operators, technicians, and support personnel.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs as needed.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Ensure the manufacturing facility complies with all relevant environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve product quality issues promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Ensure the manufacturing facility complies with all relevant environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Good understanding of P&L/Industry Costing.
• Regularly communicate with senior management, providing updates on production performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
• Generate and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve plant performance.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Plastic Manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, equipment, and materials.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
