Industry: Main Contractor (Design & Build)

Location: Site office at Nilai

Headcount: 1

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM5,000 – RM7,000

Responsibilities:

• To review calculation of quantities or taking-off for cost analysis, quotation, or tender purpose.
• To check of site budget.
• To check of monthly Budget Summary Report.
• To check of subcontractors’ progress claims.
• To check of progress claims to customers.
• To check of variation orders and final accounts to customers.
• To check of variation orders and final accounts to subcontractors and suppliers.
• To liaise with project team and design team for costing matter.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Total Management Systems.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in contract management and quantity surveying, with specific expertise in warehouse, factories, commercial buildings, and data centres projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and industry-specific regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct detailed take-offs, prepare accurate bills of quantities, and manage complex contracts.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, especially in Glodon Cubicost.
• Attention to detail, organized, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
