Job Responsibilties:

  • To achieve and exceed annual sales plan by building the capability of the sales force, providing leadership, coaching and individual development to win and maintain customers within designated industries and products.
  • Supporting and delivering business strategies, ensure delivery of revenue growth & profitability, leverage global capabilities & resources and implement local strategies & programmes.
  • Working collaboratively with support functions (marketing, supply chain, customer service, application & engineering) to deliver targets


Job Requirements:
Safety

  • Established a strong commitment to safety for the entire PG&P function
  • Integrates and embeds accountability for safety in all subordinates
  • Visible leadership in Behavioral Safety Programme
  • Supports all safety and quality standardization activities in the workplace
  • Actively supports and complies with regional and national initiatives
  • Sales Strategies Implementation
  • Implements strategies to ensure business base is protected and growth is captured
  • Constant buildup of new business opportunities
  • Develop processes that drive sales and improve profitability
  • Provide coaching for continuous sales performance improvement to the sales team.
  • Works with production team and business managers to provide forecast Supply & Demand, anticipate market needs, and feedback production's performance and assist to develop improvement plan
  • Collects/Gathers market intelligence, keep track competitor's movement and conduct analysis to improve business model & projection
  • To ensure delivery of PSO and Business targets such as Revenue, New Wins, DSO, and Pricing
  • Delivers and supports Product Service offers in line with Business Strategies
  • Account Management and drive growth strategies for Distributor segment/key Accounts


Leadership Functions

  • Drives improvement in the provision of products/services to customers
  • Effective management of the sales processes
  • Business acumen on PGP business
  • Actively participates in the management of key customers
  • Works with CEC and other functions to ensure customer complaints are addressed
  • Improves customer experience
  • Change management leadership
  • Leads significant change initiatives to improve Sales Revenue, DSO & Pricing agenda.
  • Implements Business Strategies cascaded by the Head of PG&P/Business Manager.


Risk management

  • Manages adequate risk assessment when executing sales plan.
  • Competency Development
  • Ensures placement of competent employees.
  • Determine capability gaps within the sales organization and develop processes to fill the gaps.
  • Succession planning in management team.
  • Completes individual Development Plan

Required qualifications/experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or any other related field
  • At least 5 years' related experience, preferably in Sales/Marketing background
  • Experience and knowledge of the Industrial products market preferred
  • Strong People Management & Interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success in leadership role
