Position Title : Lead Engineer (IoT background)

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM6,000 – RM9,000

Responsibilities

· Establishment of a technical office for the purpose of development, testing and setup of smart lockers, smart vending machines, RFID checkout systems, POS systems

· Amongst other IT solutions we develop development/testing to create/improve new and existing smart machine solutions in collaboration with company founder

· Collaboration and assisting Singapore office with deployment of machines in Singapore

· Oversee development and preparation of our solutions for deployment and delivery to our clients in Singapore and other countries

· Join our Singapore team during onsite deployments in Singapore- Johor office will be in charge of preparing machines & devices for deployment onsite in Singapore with the Singapore team. This will involve cross-border travel periodically.

· Vetting of technicians for growing the technical team.

· The Head of Engineering will work closely with the Singapore HQ founders to gain the technical knowledge of our solutions and to drive the technical direction of the company, and establish the foundation for the Johor office to cornerstone of our technical development plans.

Requirement

· Experience in any of the following fields: Smart Vending Machines & Lockers, UHF RFID, Machine Vision, Robotics, Load cells, Industrial Automation, Cloud systems

· Broad background of knowledge and experience in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical and Applications

· You need a have a very strong interest in IoT and smart Machines like smart Vending Machines, automated Locker systems (like smart parcel systems), and have experience in previous implementation of machines

· You are comfortable and understand Mechanical components and concepts, you are confident in handling 12v,24v, up to 240v Electrical wiring, you have handled PCBs and understand communication protocols like RS232,RS485 or Modbus

· IoT Background- you understand how machines communicate with cloud systems

· Software Development expertise in large scale systems and managing distributed teams

· Android/Linux experience

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

· Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years experience in an Engineering-related field

· Most importantly- you are looking for a leadership position where you will be directly involved in building a new team to execute cutting edge projects for Singapore.
