Position Title : Mechanical Engineer

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM3,000 – RM4,500

Responsibilities

1. Product Design and Development:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive applications.

· Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models, simulations, and engineering drawings.

· Conduct feasibility studies and provide input into the selection of materials and manufacturing processes.

2. Testing and Validation:

· Plan and execute testing protocols to validate the performance, durability, and safety of mechanical components.

· Analyse test data, identify issues, and collaborate with the team to implement design improvements.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

3. Project Management:

· Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that engineering milestones are achieved on schedule.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate prototype builds, testing, and final product implementation.

· Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.

4. Continuous Improvement:

· Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of new engineering methodologies

Requirement

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

· Strong academic background and a passion for automotive engineering.

· Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and a willingness to learn.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

· Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

· Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

· Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
