Job Position: Facility Maintenance and Machine Technical Support

Headcount: 1

Location: Simpang Ampat

Tenure: Permanent

Responsibility & Authority:

a) In charge of executing installation, repairs and maintenance in all areas (electric, plumbing, air-conditioning, physical state of building/equipment/external, etc).

b) Maintaining and completing the records related to the areas mentioned in (a).

c) Liaising with external vendor(s) related to the areas mentioned in (a).

d) Working with Production Team Lead (setting the machine and making adjustments as needed) and Planner to lead and oversee the Production Team when they operate the packaging machines.

e) Overseeing the Production Team cleaning the machines before and after use.

f) Training the Production Team on handling the machines.

g) Ensuring that all Production Areas are clean and maintained.

h) Registering any new machine and liaising with the JKKP or any consultant(s) appointed by the Company in the registration process.

i) Completing the qualification needed to become one of the JKKP Safety Coordinator of the Company to ensure that the health and safety guidelines are followed.

j) Controlling the expenses related to maintenance activity, reduce the material waste and reduce in-process reject.

k) Keeping the work place clean and tidy.

l) Reporting any equipment or facility malfunction to Management.

m) Completing HACCP/GMP training and applying the requirements in the Company’s facilities.

Qualification & Experience:

a) Possess strong organizational skills and having in depth technical knowledge in handling Electric matters, plumbing, and machinery.

b) Possess a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the manufacturing/production operations.

c) Able to work independently (with minimum supervision) or in a team.

d) Highly analytical to rapidly determine any issue and provide long term solutions.

e) Trained in the application of HACCP principles and GMP.

f) Based in Penang. Can relocate to Penang (if necessary).
