  • Providing support in addressing escalated employee and/or manager Global Mobility issues from Tier 1 GBS, escalating to COE or HRBP when necessary.
  • Coordinating relocation efforts among stakeholders and third-party service providers.
  • Collaborating with global mobility colleagues, HR teams, Line Manager, external vendors, and other stakeholders to effectively manage the assignment population.
  • Ensuring total compliance in immigration, social security, tax, and legal matters for all global relocations annually.
  • Partnering with external vendors to deliver high-value and exceptional services for Global Mobility-related services.
  • Conducting briefing sessions for Assignees & Permanent Transfers.
  • Analysing and preparing cost projections for business approval for assignments and relocations.
  • Managing assignment documentation and providing instructions to payrolls and shadow payrolls as needed.
  • Advising the business on potential assignment or working arrangements from a tax, social security, reporting, and immigration perspective.
  • Interacting with payroll teams globally to implement assignee compensation and analyse monthly reports.
  • Driving the annual pay review process and MIP process for Long Term Assignees, including preparation, planning, execution, and communication.
  • Preparing annual (and in some instances quarterly) exchange rate reconciliations for Long Term Assignees.
  • Providing guidance to key stakeholders on Global Mobility policy, processes, and associated assignment considerations to ensure compliance.
  • Handling Global Mobility survey submissions and bench marking data.
  • Assisting in reviewing and developing global mobility policies to meet business requirements and best practices.
  • Generating ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed to address information requests across the organisation.
  • Supporting the provision of training and education to HR and the Business on all aspects of Global Mobility policies and systems.
  • Undertaking other duties as assigned.
The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrated experience in operating within a multinational and multilingual environment, both locally and remotely.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, adhere to deadlines, and uphold high-quality work standards.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of functioning effectively both independently and as part of a team at all hierarchical levels.
  • Displays curiosity and initiative in resolving tasks promptly and efficiently.



Technology Enablement:

  • Proficient in utilising MS Office and other essential business tools.
  • Experience with the Assignment Pro system is required, and familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors HRIS and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery suite is advantageous.
  • Knowledgeable about compliance requirements in immigration, social security, tax, and legal matters.

  • Comfortable ensuring stakeholders are well-trained in relevant user processes to promote an error-free work approach.
  • Capable of providing targeted feedback to individuals and groups, facilitating large-scale education and training programs, and driving strategic improvements.
  • Proactively utilises problem-solving skills to contribute to the development agenda of the GBS and implement extensive training initiatives.



Language and Communication:

  • Proficient in English, as it is the primary language used within the organisation
  • Confident in delivering services and engaging in high-quality interactions with business partners and customer groups.
  • Adaptable in selecting the most suitable communication method for various situations to ensure effective audience engagement and successful outcomes.
  • Proficiency in one or more additional foreign languages, such as Indonesian Bahasa, Chinese, Thai, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Polish, or Portuguese, is highly advantageous.



Qualifications/Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in handling mobility processes, encompassing both front and back-end operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Reward, HR, or business-related role.
  • Preferred experience with expatriate programs and knowledge of expatriate assignment compensation and payroll.
  • Familiarity cost estimation and balance sheets is necessary.



Key Stakeholders:

  • Engages with employees, managers, HR Centres of Excellence, HR Business Partners, Operations, Finance, third-party vendors, and regulatory bodies.
