Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Lead and manage project teams, including internal staff, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to project team members, encouraging professional growth and development.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, regulatory authorities and other project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address stakeholder concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations, codes and industry standards.
- Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to uphold project quality and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality reviews to identify and address any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely tracking of project costs.
- Monitor project financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure budget compliance.
- Work closely with the finance team to prepare project financial forecasts, reports, and projections.
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project execution and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing proactive measures to minimize their impact.
- Prepare contingency plans and response strategies to address unforeseen challenges or disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in property development, construction management, or related field, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
