LUMIX 2 HFPL is a new high power and double wavelengths, portable, laser therapy equipment, that can
be useful in an ambulatory, at a physician’s and in a physiotherapy centre.
Managed entirely by a latest generation microprocessor, the Lumix® 2 H.F.P.L.® uses laser
power transmission through optical fibres to transfer the laser light from the source to the
treatment area. Together with the realization of an extremely versatile laser piloting device,
this technique makes it possible for the Lumix® 2 H.F.P.L.® to mix on a single spot two types
of laser light: RED and INFRARED.
Lumix® 2 H.F.P.L.® is effective because BIDIODIC: high power diode laser in the
wavelength of the INFRARED PULSED-SUPERPULSED and CONTINUOUS laser
diode in the wavelength of the RED, that allow to transmit to the tissue high power
concentrated in the different subcutaneous levels. The high density of energy, the different
biostimulation of the two wavelengths and the thermic effect that we consequently obtain,
allow the operator to work with treatments extremely rapid. The possibility to interact on
the emission modality, through the power regulation and the INFRARED diode frequency,
makes Lumix® 2 H.F.P.L.® extremely versatile for all the laser therapy uses in medical and
physiotherapeutic field.
Lumix® 2 H.F.P.L.® (High Frequency Power Laser) uses a laser diode at high power
in the wavelength of the infrared at emission PULSED and SUPERPULSED and one diode
in the wavelength of the red with CONTINUOUS emission. The high repetitions of
the impulses (up to 50,000Hz), further the notable average power (obtained
from the average of all the impulses) allows to obtain the photomechanic effect
of the laser light. This effect, that shows at the molecular level that frequencies higher
than 40,000Hz (superpulse), consists in the transformation of the bright EM energy into
mechanical energy. This can increase, at the same wavelength and power, the effects on the
conduction structures, on the muscular tissue (decontracture), nervous (antalgic), and on the
fibrous tissue (increase of elasticity). Thanks to the high peak power of this innovative diode
(45 W) and to the high pulsing frequency , we obtain a considerable output average power.
The peak power, together with the wavelength (from 650nm to 1000nm), are the determinant
factors for reaching and irradiating human tissues in depth.
THE USE OF THE NEW LASER Lumix® 2 H.F.P.L.® IS SPECIFIC FOR:
PAIN TREATMENT: cervicalgia, dorsalgia, lumbago and radicular syndromes
in general, originated by both inflammation and irritation.
Articular and periarticular aches (direct and indirect antalgic effect by
anti-inflammatory action).
Inflammatory and degenerative neuritis and neuropathies.
Muscular contractures and myofascial trigger areas.
ACUTE INFLAMMATION: acute tendonitis and acute flare-up phases of
chronic tendinopathies.
Capsular and ligament inflammation either of traumatic or of
degenerative origin.
Acute arthritis of traumatic origin (excellent antiedemigeneous effect) or in
case of a new acute phase of a chronic degenerative arthropathy (arthrosis,
rheumatisms, etc).
DEGENERATIVE LESIONS: recent subtotal lesions of ligaments and tendons
(by exploiting the metabolic stimulus and the anti-inflammatory effect in order to
accelerate and improve tissue repair).
Muscular lesions (in a second phase of at least 72 hours after the trauma).
MYOFASCIAL SYNDROMES: idiopathic fibromyalgia.
