About the product
This new generation of laser equipment has the following main features:
• 2 types of laser emission: Pulsed and Superpulsed
• high peak powers
• high average powers
• high pulse repetition (up to 100,000 per second)
• synchronisation of activation of the laser sources
• optical overlapping of the laser sources spots
Having high peak powers available allows transferring the average power generated by
the laser sources deeply inside human tissues.
An important feature of the new superpulsed laser instrument is a high average power,
comparable with the maximum output power of CW lasers.

Two superpulsed laser models able to satisfy any healthcare
practitioner’s needs.
The new LUMIX® 100 H.F.P.L.® and LUMIX® 250 H.F.P.L.®
lasers permits to work on the patient with any operating
technique, both automatically and manually.
LUMIX® 100 H.F.P.L.®
A versatile laser:
• 600 W: maximum peak power;
• 100 W: minimum peak power;
• considerable average power equal to 2W;
• excellent tissue penetration for fast
treatments

Tissue penetration:
Among the factors allowing a laser light to penetrate the human tissues, wavelength and peak power are essential.
It is important for the laser wavelength to fall within the so-called “therapeutic window” namely 600 to 1400 nanometers.
The lasers LUMIX® 100 H.F.P.L.® and LUMIX® 250 H.F.P.L.® emit in a wavelength of 904÷910 nanometers.
At the same wavelength the peak power is indispensable to reach deeply in the tissue.
Using a laser with high peak powers is therefore absolutely necessary to reach the deep layers.

Superpulsation
Using high pulsation frequencies (over 40KHz: superpulse) permits to exploit a physical
phenomenon new for a laser appliance, that is the photomechanical effect i.e. the
transformation, at a molecular level, of light EM energy into mechanical energy.
The photomechanical effect can increase the effects both on the conduction structures that
is on the muscular tissues (decontracturing) and on the nervous tissues (antalgia) and also
on the fibrous tissues (improvement of the elasticity) with the same wavelength and power.
A wide frequency adjustment range (both manually and automatically) makes the laser
devices LUMIX® 100 H.F.P.L.® and LUMIX® 250 H.F.P.L.® extremely versatile.
