Today, our main subsidiary, GP Autobat Sdn Bhd (GPA), riding on the “GP” branding is recognized as a major supplier of automotive batteries not only in Malaysia but internationally in over 30 countries including Australia, Middle East, Nigeria, South Africa, Singapore and United Kingdom to name a few, relying on its commitment to QUALITY EXCELLENCE and adhering to its ISO certification obtained since 1993 and upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 in 2003.

Bhd, diversified into the manufacturing and distribution of rechargeable maintenance-free sealed lead acid batteries. Marketed under the “GP” brand, these batteries are widely used as a back-up power source for standby and cyclical applications. These include UPS, alarm & security systems, emergency lighting, power tools and toys, telecommunications and many others.

Over the years, not only has the “GP” brand of sealed lead acid battery made a strong impact in the domestic market but approximately 70% of its production is exported, thereby confirming its international acceptance.
