specializes in collecting over-due and bad debts for creditors. Creditors can either be Financial Institutions or Commercial Business. Camdeus represents them and acts on their behalf to demand and collect these over-due and bad debts.

Q: What Does Camdeus Do to Collect the Debt?
A: There is no fixed procedure to collect these debts. Each outstanding debt requires different recovery approaches due to the age and the amount outstanding. The process starts with letters and telephone calls. Often Camdeus must find current contact information by doing a third party search called ‘Skip Tracing’, and initiate a ‘Field Visit’ for a face-to-face meeting with the debtor to demand payment in full or payment arrangements.

Q: What is the Camdeus Rate & Fee?
A: The Camdeus fees are based on a “No Success, No Fee” philosophy. Camdeus only charges on successfully recovered amounts. Although Camdeus offers a standard rate based on the quantity and age of the debt, Camdeus will give preferential rates based on the volume and the nature of debts.

Q: How Long Does It Take to Collect a Debt?
A: Camdeus works on all accounts within 24 hours of assignment. Client will receive an initial assessment within 7 days, and may ask for periodic reports to follow.

Q: What Kind of Accounts Does Camdeus Accept and Service?
A: Camdeus accepts all consumer and commercial trade accounts. It can be direct consumer financial debts, commercial trade debts, student loan debts, SME or MNC’s debts. Camdeus will not discriminate based on the age or type of accounts placed. Camdeus welcomes accounts from other collection agencies around the world.

Q: What is Your Success Rate?
A: Not a difficult question, though it cannnotcannot be quickly addressed and answered.

Commercially, it very much depends on the creditor, the age of the debt and the location of the debt. The earlier you outsource the account, the higher the success rate. Camdeus personnel are attentive to all types of accounts.

Q: Do You Provide Updates / Reports?
A: Absolutely. Camdeus provides regular status reports, either monthly or according to the client’s needs. Each client will be assigned an account manager for all updates on recovery status. Client feedback is extremely important and helps us continue to improve our service.

A: If necessary. Camdeus does not initiate any legal action until Camdeus obtains your written and documented consent. Camdeus will recommend and provide you with reports on why legal action should be taken, the cost involved and the outcome expected, with turn-around times.
