StartupMamak.com - Kuala Lumpur

StartupMamak is a monthly meet up initiative created by the startup community, for the startup community. It provides a free platform for entrepreneurs, budding entrepreneurs, students, young professionals, angels, and VCs to network, share, and pitch all-things-startups. The event takes place on the first Thursday of every month and typically features a guest speaker from the startup scene. The term “StartupMamak” was coined by local tech entrepreneur James Khoo (www.secq.me), who has won numerous global awards for his patent-pending mobile personal safety technology. The folks at StartupMamak are committed to creating value for the startup community and run it like a startup. They aim to nurture, inspire, and uplift human capital quality through “No-BS” roundtable conversations.
