Ecoteer Community Interest Company

In 2005, Daniel Quilter, an environmental conservationist, founded Ecoteer after he had experienced the benefits of volunteering abroad. He saw that volunteering at eco lodges in places like Borneo could make a real difference, even if individual volunteers' efforts were small. The knowledge and experience he gained through volunteering abroad helped him further his career, and he eventually returned to Malaysia to manage a marine and turtle conservation project. Ecoteer volunteers often go back to the countries they have worked in, and if more people were able to volunteer, there could be a greater chance of saving our planet.
