Linguamatix Sdn Bhd (Linguamatix) is a leader in the field of high-throughput machine translation, utilizing its own unique neuronal network technology known as LinguaBASE®. These systems are capable of automatically translating large volumes of content, such as webpages and digital text, in real-time at an incredibly high rate of speed. The company was founded in September 2002 and spent three years in research and development before introducing a prototype of the world's first English to Bahasa Malaysia translation system. This system operates with a translation rate of up to 200,000 words per minute on a single server, and has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2006 Regional Asia-Pacific ICT Award, the 2006 MSC Asia-Pacific ICT Award, and the 2006 Red Herring Asia 100 Awards.
