We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Head of IT Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the overall information security strategy, policies, and programs within our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of IT security, assurance, governance, and architecture.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Information Security Strategy:

•Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with organizational goals.

•Provide leadership in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks.

Security Assurance:

•Establish and maintain a robust security assurance program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

•Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments.

Governance and Compliance:

•Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.

•Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

•Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a strong security governance framework.

Architecture and Design:

•Provide guidance on the design and implementation of secure IT systems and architecture.

•Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into system development processes.

Team Leadership and Development:

•Lead and mentor a team of security professionals.

•Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the security awareness of staff.

Technology Evaluation and Adoption:

•Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.

•Evaluate and recommend security technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.

Requirements:

Education and Certification:

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

•Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

Experience:

•Proven experience in a senior IT security role with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience.

•Demonstrated success in developing and implementing information security strategies.

Skills:

•Strong understanding of security assurance, governance, and architecture principles.

•Excellent knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.

•Solid understanding of network security, cryptography, and security technologies.

Communication:

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership:

•Strong leadership and team management skills.

•Ability to lead and motivate a team of security professionals.

Problem-Solving:

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
