Job vacancy Senior Merchandising Manager

• Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives, pivoting well with recent trends and incorporating cross-selling of different functions and categories within the business.
• Lead and mentor a team of merchandising professionals to ensure successful implementation of initiatives, demonstrating strategic thinking, agility, and a data-driven approach, while also looking into competitor analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align merchandising efforts with overall business goals, market trends, and opportunities for cross-selling, while remaining agile and responsive to changing market dynamics.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze customer feedback to evaluate and optimize merchandising effectiveness across various functions and categories, utilizing data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to support merchandising strategies, facilitate cross-selling initiatives, conduct competitor analysis, and achieve business objectives effectively, while also being hands-on and driven in executing day-to-day tasks.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail merchandising, with demonstrated leadership experience and exposure to private labeling products.
• Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic merchandising initiatives to drive sales and achieve business objectives.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
• Passion for retail and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
