Review of Body Perfect Ladies Beauty & Slimming Spa

2.0
I used Body Perfect for over a year, going for facials at least once a fortnight before I realized that not only are the treatments not working, but the whole set-up of the pricing etc is dubious - an understatement.
I suffer from rosacea and acne flare-ups and following a gift voucher from HSBC, decided to try Body-Perfect out. First off let me warn you that prices are expensive. Clarins, Dermalogica etc charge approx 200-500 ringgit per facial, Body Perfect facials are 1500 upwards. They have very good sales people and impressive sounding equipment - i-clear, shot-gun-type thing that "blasts" nutrients straight into your skin, laser etc so I gave it a trial. After each facial I was relaxed from the "gua sha" and massage, and I saw very minor improvements (more moisturized, less big eruptions) but the rosacea and acne remained. However what I don't like about Body Perfect is the fact that they assign what amounts to account managers for each individual client, charging DIFFERENT rates for same treatments according to each customer - I know this because I was offered different prices each time without real explanation, and my colleague who also went reported different prices being quoted between hers and mine. Also, when my account manager went on holiday and I went for a treatment, they actually refused to quote a price for me - until she came back, despite there being other managers around. I had also asked to see a treatment/price list and they actually refused to give one to me - that was when I stopped going to BP - after already having spent 20k. Anyway, I moved to Hong Kong and discovered scam no 2 - in BP Malaysia, they boast spas in Hong Kong and multiple other cities. There is NO BP in HK. I returned to Malaysia for a visit and as BP was just round the corner from my hotel in mid-valley, I popped by and asked them where their HK spa was. After much evasion they said that they have "sister" spas under diff names in HK. I have heard good reviews of their treatments from others, but their whole pricing and misrepresentation set-up really puts me off. Caveat emptor - buyers beware!
